Hard work is not enough
Where the effort is directed also matters.
Do you work hard, yet fail to see any progress?
You’re not alone.
You're grinding away with your job, day in and day out.
But the progress you're hoping for still needs to be discovered.
The problem often isn't the effort; it's where that effort is directed.
That's a tough lesson I learned after years of hustling with little to show for it.
I was the behind-the-scenes guy, creating content for other people.
It was relentless work and the payoff?
Not worth it.
But then, lightbulb moment.
These clients, the ones paying me pennies, were making a fortune.
How?
They had a formula:
Build a loyal following with organic content,
THEN, create a valuable solution that solves a problem.
To a specific group of people who actively search for it online.
This realization shifted my whole perspective.
It's not just about working hard; it's about working smart.
And working smart means being strategic.
I was in the business for so long, that I could take notice of trends, even before they blew up.
And I saw the rise of theme pages and personal brands.
And that hit me, another light-bulb moment.
That I needed to jump right in.
This shift didn't just change my workload; it changed my life.
For me, that meant building my brand, audience, and products.
Suddenly, I wasn't trading hours for dollars.
I was leveraging my efforts for greater returns.
I wasn't just working; I was building.
Building content I loved, products I believed in,
and an audience that resonated with my message.
And the best part? I set my hours.
This is the essence of what I teach at Faceless Capital.
Growing your Instagram accounts and monetizing them effectively.
But it's more than just making money.
It's about giving you the confidence to work hard for something that can change your life.
